Nicholas (Nick) Ratliff

 Hello!!  I am the Director of Junior Golf Instruction.  I enjoy working with students of all levels and ages.  I have a passion for working with people and helping them achieve their goals in golf. 

Here are some highlights of my experience as a competitive golfer and a golf instructor: 

-I began playing the game at 18 months old

-I've competed at the junior golf and collegiate golf level for 15 years

-I was a 4 time letterman as part of the highly competitive Belton High School golf team

-I was a varsity team member at Ranger Junior College and consistently competed as the number 1 or 2 ranked player on the travel team

-I was a traveling member of the Concordia University varsity golf team for one year

-I averaged 72.5 for the competitive season highlighted by becoming the first ASC individual conference champion in school history

-I have been teaching the game to adults and juniors for the last three years

-I learned to play the game from PGA professional and Master Instructor at The Heart of Texas Golf Academy, Greg Antunes

-My teaching philosophy is very simple:

I enjoy working on building the foundations and fundamentals of a great golf swing that will last a lifetime.  I believe that there are many ways to swing a golf club if you can develop solid fundamentals and move your body in an athletic manor during the swing.-I take great joy in working with players from all skill levels who want to improve.  I like working with my students towards a plan for long term improvement and success-I am continuing to learn and sharpen my skills as an instructor on a daily basis. My motivation to bring my students the best understanding of how to play this game pushes me to always strive to become a better instructor.

I look forward to meeting any golfer where they are and getting them to where they want to be.  I am available for lessons 7 days a week around my family schedule.
